Tokay High School Rehabilitation

Lodi Unified School District

During the summer of 2007, Lodi Unified School District discovered mold at Tokay High School. This state of emergency required all buildings to be evacuated and abated which uncovered additional dry rot and termite damage. With six weeks until school re-opened, ARCHITECHNICA undertook the 150,000 sf modernization/renovation project. All buildings were stripped to bare framing, including the removal of all lighting, wiring, and HVAC systems. With the addition of temporary portable classrooms, School re-opened in Fall of 2007 while construction completed in Fall of 2008.
