Dryden Park Golf Clubhouse

Just after 11pm on August 4, 2020, local fire authorities responded to a fire at the Dryden Park Golf Course. The clubhouse was engulfed in flames. The building was left uninhabitable.

While it was disheartening to see the clubhouse rage in flames, it sparked ideas of hope and rebirth to quite literally rebuild from the ashes and emerge as a better version of what once was. The clubhouse redesign seeks to enhance and expand the existing pro shop and dining room spaces while also adding a new bar, expansive outdoor balcony, and elevator to connect the two levels. The dining room, bar, and pro shop functions are designed to operate independently providing more opportunities to service the community and also multiple income streams for the clubhouse. An earth tone color palette was selected for the exterior design elements which include aluminum storefront, metal paneling, and smooth plaster.
