Gallagher Gym - Franklin High School

The Gallagher Gym project at Franklin High School modernizes the original facility while introducing a new lobby and storage addition. These renovations and expansions enhance functionality throughout the building and create a signature focal point for the campus.

Both the girls’ and boys’ locker rooms are being fully remodeled to better serve a variety of team sports. Each locker room will feature exterior access to the athletic fields and interior connections to the new training room, laundry, storage areas, student restrooms, and coaches’ office. Lockers will be arranged around the perimeter, creating a central community space for team assembly and meetings.

A new lobby on the north end of the gymnasium will improve accessibility and provide an inspiring sports environment. The lobby will include an outdoor walk-up ticket booth, snack bar, trophy display, accessible public restrooms, and drinking fountain, with infrastructure to support closed-circuit television.

To the east, a new equipment yard will be enclosed by a CMU wall with decorative wrought iron fencing. Within it, a new CMU storage building will house PE and athletic team equipment, supporting the school’s robust athletics program.
